Question

Does this work with rechargeable batteries - if not then what is the reason?

The manual says it doesnt work with rechargeable batteries, I wondered if this was correct and if so then why? The batteries run out after a couple of hours and I am using the product outside - cant afford to keep buying batteries.

Question

What is the frequency range of this product?

Many products claim to go from 20hz to 20,000hz, (the audible spectrum) but many products go beyond 20,000hz or below 20hz, So if you would please offer me an accurate range that truly conveys how low it can go, even if some of that is inaudible. I would really appreciate that, I get tired of other brands giving me the 20 to 20k "run around" especially when functionally they are only 30 or 40hz. Also I like the orange color :)

stopped reading ipod!

Worked great for 6 months, today I tried to play my ipod and it's as if I didn't plug it in. Radio works fine, cd works fine. Tried 3 different ipods and nothing. Help!

Why is the only color option orange?

You showed multiple colors at CES in January, your facebook page shows multiple colors dating back to November of last year, so why is burnt orange still the only color that you make? How many people have to ask you about different colors before you will start making other colors?

Not likely, the aux in is not amplified, there is little to no power, it's one major flaw w/ this boombox.

Depends on the battery type.
There is a battery level indicator on the display.
The unit can function with a 12V car battery as well.

Question

Can an iPod nano 7th gen be docked with a lightning to 30 pin adapter?

If it can't, I going to be really unhappy. Yes, I know I can use the USB port. But I bought the dang things (the Sharp and the iPod Nano) so I could dock it properly and not have a cable with a thing attached to it dangling.

Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding the Sharp GXM10 audio system. This Sharp audio system is compatible with the iPod Nano up to their 6th generation. We cannot guarantee any 3rd party cords to work in collaboration with our Sharp audio systems through an adaptor.

Battery mode while plugged in

Why is it when I have it plugged in and put batteries in, it goes to battery mode vs using AC power? That will waste my batteries for no reason? Is there a fix or work-around?
