Thank you for your recent inquiry about the GXM10. For connection of this unit to an external device, you would use the audio input port with a 3.5mm Stereo Jack cable. This will allow you to input audio from your DVR directly to the GXM10.

Question

Is a 12volt power cord included? I'd like to use this from time to time on road trips in the back seat of my car and not need batteries.

If the 12volt power adapter is not included, where can I purchase one that will work with this product?

Question

GXM10 Low bass on audio input

Hi,

When I plug in an external audio source into my GXM10 the bass is significantly lower even if xbass is turned on.

I've tried several sources and cables but the sound is very tinny and there's virtually no bass. I've also tried changing the EQ setting but there's still no bass.

Is there setting I'm missing?

Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding the Sharp G-XM10 Portable CD Stereo System. The G-XM10 does support passing video from a connected iPod, iPad or iPhone to a television connected via the Video Out terminal on the back of the G-XM10. We do not recommend connecting the G-XM10 and an AQUOS TV in any other manner. If we may be of further assistance please feel free to contact us at 1-877-332-7867, Monday - Friday 7AM - 9PM CST and Saturday - Sunday 9AM - 7PM CST, so we can directly address your inquiry. Question

What is the frequency range of this product?

Many products claim to go from 20hz to 20,000hz, (the audible spectrum) but many products go beyond 20,000hz or below 20hz, So if you would please offer me an accurate range that truly conveys how low it can go, even if some of that is inaudible. I would really appreciate that, I get tired of other brands giving me the 20 to 20k "run around" especially when functionally they are only 30 or 40hz. Also I like the orange color :)
