Question

Why is there no bass/sub woofer when I plug into my Laptop?

Everything is fine with the Bass/Sub Woofer when I plug in my iPhone & put in CDs & it lights up fine, but when I use auxiliary into my Laptop there is no bass really & it doesn't have the same feel. Help?

I would assume your laptop equalizer settings are flat. Play with the settings in your media player, this should help, also make sure your out levels are high too.

I wouldn't bring it to the beach, excessive sunlight could cause problems w/ the unit. If you do, make sure the unit is covered (in the shade) and not near any water.

Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding the Sharp GXM10 portable audio system. This model does feature an auto resume function that will resume the last function and playback, should there be a power failure or the AC power cord becomes disconnected. However, CD/MP3 programming and the random mode is not memorized. Further information about the Auto Resume function can be found on page 5 of the owner’s manual. Thank you for your recent inquiry about our Sharp GX-M10 Audio System. The GX-M10 can be connected using a Red and White RCA to AUX 3.5mm cord. Be advised that you will still need to connect a yellow video cord from your DVD Player to a open composite video jack on your TV set. When using this method you will have to have the unit on and set to AUDIO IN to allow your DVD Players sound to come through the GX-M10.

At present, in the United States, the unit only comes in the orange/copper color and is only available in online stores. You can browse the web to find an online store that suits your needs.

Hi,

No this unit is not compatible with the lighting connector used on the iPhone5. In an effort to make this unit compatible with most of the iPhones, Sharp opted to use the standard iPhone connector.

You can use the GXM10 USB input for use with iPhone5
