My 70' aquos started flickering today. Theres still a picture but there's flickering lines through it. I've tried unplugging and resetting the TV but I can't figure it out. This tv is about 1 year old

70" Sharp HD LED Smart Tv right side flickering & shutting off

My tv has been fine since I bought it. Today, however, it began to flicker on just the entire right side of the screen and then the entire right side abruptly shut off/went black. After a few minutes it would flicker a couple of times, but would never come back on completely.

We apologize for the difficulties you are currently experiencing with your remote for your LC70C6500U. We would be happy to help. We would like to walk you through a remote reset.

1. Unplug the TV
2. Remove batteries from the remote
3. Press and Hold down the Power button on the remote control for at least 30 seconds.
4. Next Press every button on the remote just once.
5. Plug the TV back in to the outlet or surge protector.
6. Install the batteries correctly back in the remote control (prefer new batteries if possible)
7. Attempt to Power on the TV with the remote control.

Question

How can I connect my iphone to this TV?

I recently purchased an Apple AV to HDMI connector & HDMI cable for my iphone 6. When I connect it to the HDMI 3 or HDMI 4 ports and change the input to the corresponding HDMI setting I get nothing but a black screen. I have checked the product support for the adapter & I am connecting it according to their directions. Is there something else I should be doing?

How to add back the youtube app

I got Sharp LC60C6500U for about 3 months. I watched lots of programs via youtube app until today. The youtube app is disappeared when I just turned on the TV. I did not do anything except updating the software as asked on the screen yesterday. But after I updated the software, I still watched Youtube yesterday. Everything was fine until today. My Dell laptop displays fine on HDMI 4 but NOT on HDMI 1.

Using the same HDMI cable, I can connect by Dell laptop to HDMI 4 and it works great. But if I connect to HDMI 1 it does not. What is the difference between these ports?

You can't. This model comes with apps "as is" only. No new apps can be downloaded. Buy a different brand because Sharp offers no answers other than a canned, you can't add Amazon, nor do we plan to add it in the future, speech. Buy a Vizio. They constantly update apps!
